Our Greenspace Committee promotes ecologically sound practices in the neighborhood, plans and promotes improvements to parks and other public green spaces, organizes volunteer maintenance of green spaces and public plantings. The Greenspace Committee does not presently have a regular meeting time, but conducts any business during the regular monthly neighborhood association meetings at 10 a.m. on the second Saturday of the month at Bashford Church, 329 North Street.

Greenspace also schedules several "Workday Events" throughout the year, in order to get in a few hours of weeding or other maintenance around the neighborhood. These events are posted on the Eken Park list serve.
