The Eken Park Neighborhood Association, UA is a neighborhood association of the City of Madison, Wisconsin. Our primary purpose is to improve the neighborhood through democratic citizen participation and involvement. We are neighbors from ages sixteen to elderly, who choose to ensure that our neighborhood is safe, well informed, and has a say in city policies.

The organization works to generate and sustain a spirit of cooperation among area residents through all appropriate means, for example:

• Identifying problems or negative trends prior to their reaching crisis proportions.
• Fostering neighborhood interest and participation in planning.
• Providing means for widespread study and discussion of all issues and questions pertinent to the neighborhood.
• Educating citizens, both members and non-members of the organization, in the processes, problems, and potential of the neighborhood's future.
• Serving as advocate for those policies and programs that are agreed to be in the neighborhood's best interest.
• Working in cooperation with city and neighborhood groups to improve and further the neighborhood's interest.

Any person, household, or business located within the boundaries of EPNA may join the organization. Yearly membership runs from November 1 to October 31, and members joining after April 15 have a membership running through October 31 of the following year.
